The Creative Writing program empowers you to craft original works while developing editing and publishing skills.

You'll learn directly from published authors, experienced editors, and publishing professionals affiliated with the Writing and Society Research Centre, alongside faculty from the School of Humanities and Communication Arts.

The curriculum also explores modern literary studies, covering critical theory, linguistic evaluation, genre analysis, and textual examination, while exposing you to diverse works spanning classic and contemporary literature.

Successful completion of Global Assessment Certificate with a GPA of 2.3. Successful completion of Year 12 with an ATAR of 60, successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program, 1 year of university studies or completion of a qualification equivalent to an Australian AQF Certificate IV. 2 years full-time study at a recognised postsecondary institution where the language of instruction is English.
