Embark on a fulfilling journey to become a secondary school educator through Victoria University's Master of Teaching (Secondary Education) program, which emphasizes hands-on learning.
You'll acquire substantial classroom experience to equip you for the realities of teaching. Our strong industry connections provide supervised teaching placements and numerous professional development opportunities.
With smaller class sizes than most institutions, our dedicated tutors can personalize your learning experience. As specialists in education, we know what works best for student development. Forget about crowded lectures and frequent exams - you'll engage in interactive workshops with practical assignments like designing lesson plans and presenting research, all designed to shape you into an outstanding educator.
Upon graduating from this program, you will be able to:

Evaluate various teaching methodologies and educational theories that address diverse learning needs in secondary schools;
Assess curriculum materials that incorporate Indigenous Australian perspectives, fostering reconciliation in modern education;
Identify literacy and numeracy requirements for students of all abilities, including those with disabilities or special learning needs;
