Gain substantial real-world teaching experience through our network of partnerships, completing 60 days of supervised classroom practice in primary schools.

Upon graduating from this program, you will be able to:
Apply innovative teaching methods and continuous professional development in educational settings while leveraging professional networks;
Evaluate societal transformations (technological, economic, environmental, and cultural) and their impact on primary education;
Develop and apply appropriate assessment strategies for primary school classrooms;
Adopt and defend diverse teaching methodologies that support 21st century learning in culturally and economically varied communities;
Examine and articulate the cultural and political contexts of primary education, particularly in diverse socioeconomic environments;
Demonstrate ethical practice, social responsibility, and sustainability commitment while pursuing continuous improvement for students, schools, and communities;
Conduct and communicate educational research that informs and enhances teaching practices;
Develop foundational leadership skills essential for new educators.
Completion of an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent).
Applicants will also be asked to complete an assessment of their non-academic attributes. Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree from countries other than Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada or the Republic of Ireland will be required to complete IELTS (or equivalent): Overall 7.0 with Listening 7.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 6.5, Speaking 7.5.
