By recognizing your honours (or equivalent) degree, this master's program requires only two core units in research ethics and project design, letting you start your thesis earlier and graduate more quickly. It's one of several tailored master's programs designed for graduates with diverse academic backgrounds.
Program outcomes
VU's innovative Master of Research Practice enables students to conduct and finalize a supervised research project at the master's level (AQF 9). This is accomplished through introductory coursework units that explore a) research process fundamentals and expectations, and b) relevant disciplinary specializations when applicable. The research journey is further supported through milestone requirements, ensuring continuous guidance and timely, high-quality project submission.
Upon successful completion, graduates will be able to:
