After achieving a 70% average in coursework, you'll embark on your own research project in an area of personal interest.
Program outcomes
VU's innovative Master of Applied Research enables students to conduct and complete a supervised research project at the master's level (AQF 9). This is accomplished through introductory coursework units addressing a) research process fundamentals and expectations, and b) relevant disciplinary specializations when applicable. The research journey is further supported by milestone requirements that ensure guidance throughout and high-quality, timely project submission.
Upon successfully finishing this program, graduates will be able to:
Show advanced comprehension of core principles and contemporary discussions regarding research ethics and integrity;
Exhibit knowledge of pertinent national guidelines and institutional policies affecting research conduct in various settings;
Recognize critical ethical considerations relevant to their specific research area;
