Program objectives
VU's innovative Master of Applied Research enables students to conduct and finalize a supervised research project at the master's level (AQF 9). This is accomplished through introductory coursework units addressing a) research process fundamentals and expectations, and b) relevant disciplinary specialization when applicable. The research journey is further supported through milestone requirements that ensure guidance, quality standards, and timely project completion.
Upon successfully finishing this program, graduates will be equipped to:
Show comprehensive knowledge of core principles and contemporary discussions regarding research ethics and integrity;
Understand applicable national guidelines and institutional policies affecting research conduct across various settings;
