Qualification Requirements

Becoming an Internationally Qualified Registered Nurse (IQRN) in Australia requires several steps. If you pass the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) self-check, you’ll then need to complete a National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) before taking the OSCE. Applicants for our OSCE Preparation Program must prove they have already passed the NCLEX-RN. Applicants must also demonstrate they meet the NMBA English language skills registration standard, with an IELTS score of 7.0 in all bands, or equivalent.
