Build essential osteopathic knowledge starting with undergraduate studies, then advance to a master's program to qualify for professional practice and registration, through Victoria University's Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy)/Master of Health Science (Osteopathy) dual degree.
Our program enjoys strong industry recognition and is structured to comply with the Australasian Osteopathic Accreditation Council's requirements (our re-accreditation process with this key body is presently underway).
To equip you for a healthcare career, your studies will cover:
human anatomy
osteopathic theory and methods
body function science
disease processes
community health
research-informed healthcare.
You'll gain valuable clinical experience through practical training at our professional healthcare facilities.
Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (VCE or equivalent) including Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or 20 in any other English (or equivalent).
PLUS:
A study score of at least 20 in one of Biology, Chemistry, any Mathematics or Physics.
OR:
Completion of an Australian Advanced Diploma or Diploma (or equivalent).
PLUS:
IELTS (or equivalent): Overall score of 7.0 (with no band less than 7.0 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking).
