The Master of Science in Medical Radiation Physics is designed for students with foundational studies in physics, mathematics, biology, or engineering who aspire to careers in public health and similar fields, requiring up-to-date knowledge and specialized skills in Medical Radiation Physics. The Medical Radiation Physics (MRP) program benefits from clinical partnerships with hospitals across Sydney and surrounding regions - more than half of New South Wales' practicing medical physicists received their education and training at UOW. Through robust connections with industry leaders and government laboratories, students gain substantial hands-on experience during their studies.
A recognised Bachelor degree in Physics with an equivalent average mark of 65%, otherwise any Bachelor degree with at least first year university level physics and mathematics, with an equivalent average mark of 75%.
