UOW's Master of Mathematical Sciences (Data Science) prepares you to address this need by developing your ability to derive meaningful insights from intricate data and effectively communicate these discoveries to diverse stakeholders. The UOW School of Mathematics and Applied Statistics covers disciplines ranging from pure and applied mathematics to financial mathematics and statistics. Our institution is globally recognized for expertise in areas such as survey methodology, operator algebra, spatial analysis, biometrics, differential equations, and modeling chemical processes at the nanoscale.
A bachelor's degree with a major or minor in mathematics or statistics. If applying based on a mathematics or statistics minor, it must include a minimum of 12 credit points of mathematics or statistics subjects at the 200-level or higher.
