The Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship equips you with essential expertise to transform concepts into viable business ventures and drive workplace innovation. You'll develop an entrepreneurial approach, practice design thinking methodologies, and master practical techniques to bring ideas to fruition.
Our faculty will guide you through key areas including innovative leadership strategies, entrepreneurial finance, overcoming innovation challenges, business innovation strategies, and new product development and marketing. You'll acquire skills in securing funding and gain comprehensive insights into launching, growing, and capitalizing on innovative ventures.
This program offers the chance to develop your own business concept. You'll assess opportunities through multiple lenses - financial, technical, and legal - while gaining deep knowledge about product development and marketing in today's dynamic business landscape.
Your studies culminate in an industry research project, applying your acquired skills to a real-world scenario.
The Master of Marketing delves into consumer behavior and purchasing motivations. You'll learn to leverage market insights for strategic decision-making. Expert faculty will teach you customer analysis techniques to gain market advantage through effective product/service positioning. The program covers promotional strategies to build brand value across commercial, nonprofit, and social enterprises.
This accelerated dual-degree package lets you earn two master's qualifications in two years instead of the typical three. After completing your first master's in 1.5 years, you'll receive credit for six subjects (36 credit points) toward your second degree, enabling completion in just two additional trimesters. Business or Commerce graduates may qualify for additional credits, potentially finishing both programs in under two years.
A recognised bachelor degree with an equivalent average mark of 50%; or a UOW Graduate Certificate in Business; or Graduate Certificate in Innovation Entrepreneurship. Other tertiary qualifications combined with extensive professional work experience will be considered.
