The Bachelor of Secondary Education is a four-year undergraduate program designed to qualify graduates as high school educators in their selected field. This curriculum equips future teachers with both subject expertise and instructional methods - covering both content mastery and effective teaching strategies - tailored for today's diverse, interconnected world. Throughout their studies, candidates focus on their specialization area while gaining essential skills in educational psychology, adolescent growth, classroom dynamics, Indigenous education approaches, inclusive practices, special needs education, digital tools, and teaching methodologies.
Applicants must achieve the required score in a previous qualification, equivalent to completing at least 13 years of schooling in Australia.
