The Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Dean's Scholar) program is designed for exceptional students pursuing an intensive yet well-rounded scientific education in their selected specialization. Students can select from five primary fields of study: Cell and Molecular Biology, Chemistry, and Earth Sciences
The adaptable curriculum, featuring diverse majors and electives, enables you to create a personalized academic plan aligned with your specific interests and strengths. You may pair your primary science focus with a secondary major from another field or incorporate various elective courses.
The honors component is integrated into the fourth year, where you'll complete a significant research project in your chosen discipline under supervision, alongside mandatory seminars and/or coursework.
As a Dean's Scholar, you'll gain access to exclusive networking and mentorship programs. After your first year, you'll establish a strong connection with a faculty researcher and have chances to pursue independent research projects. The program incorporates hands-on laboratory work and/or field studies, allowing you to benefit from exceptional local resources and environments.
