This one-year Honours program is designed for psychology graduates who have completed a three-year degree and require an additional year of study to qualify for provisional registration as a psychologist. It also serves as a stepping stone for those aiming to pursue postgraduate research in psychology.
The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) represents an accredited fourth year by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. This qualification enables graduates to progress to postgraduate studies or research in Psychology while meeting the requirements for provisional psychologist registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. Completing an Honours year gives students a significant career advantage.
