International Relations is an evolving and dynamic discipline dedicated to examining and addressing significant global challenges like conflict, inequality, climate change, poverty, and hunger. A Bachelor of International Studies (International Relations) emphasizes understanding your role within national and international political frameworks, as well as recognizing the historical development of global politics. Numerous graduates advance to roles in international organizations and businesses operating beyond Australia's borders. The Bachelor of International Studies explores the interconnections of politics, society, culture, language, and history across various nations. You will assess national and contemporary global concerns, with an emphasis on how worldwide forces and interactions increasingly shape domestic policies. You will also have opportunities to study overseas or join a study tour. Core courses cover global politics, international security, negotiation and conflict resolution, and the state's function in the modern era. You will participate in a Model United Nations and select from diverse electives addressing topics from war and peace to international law and the global political economy.
