Early childhood education enhances learning for kids aged birth to five, helping them reach their full potential while establishing a base for continuous learning. This approach emphasizes the importance of early schooling in promoting children's health, growth, and overall well-being. Over this four-year program, Early Years students receive ongoing professional guidance via the Professional Partners in Practice (PPP) initiative, gaining essential industry exposure and networking opportunities to boost career prospects. The degree includes up to 16 weeks of teaching practice in Early Childhood Education and Care Centers, along with two weeks in the Community and Family sector, complementing the PPP mentoring. Students can also explore rural and global professional experiences, study abroad through UOW's exchange programs, or participate in cultural immersion opportunities. The program is available on-campus in Wollongong with weekly classes or through flexible online learning, catering to regional, remote, and working students. Flexible students can access regional campus resources and support services.
