Would you like to learn how governments can shape a brighter tomorrow? An effective government needs to develop and execute policies that advance citizens' economic, social, and legal welfare. This program provides you with comprehensive knowledge about government's involvement in economic affairs, public management, governance, and legal processes. Public policy students are motivated by civic duty, and alumni pursue careers across government agencies, nonprofit organizations, consulting firms, and international bodies. They become social innovators, policy experts, government advisors, or elected officials.
(1) To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—
(a) a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA; and either:
(b) the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent;
or
(c) at least two years professional experience in a relevant occupation; or
(2) completed a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy at UWA.
