As populations become more concentrated in cities, strategic planning and responsible use of both urban spaces and natural surroundings have become critically important, both in Australia and globally. This program examines how experts in urban planning, development, and environmental preservation are promoting sustainable city design, protecting natural assets, and managing urban heritage. Participants will develop expertise in sophisticated data gathering and evaluation methods related to landscape architecture, city planning, wilderness preservation, and ecological safeguarding. Qualification Requirements

To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have
a a bachelors degree or an equivalent qualification as recognised by UWA
and
b the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 50 per cent or
c Significant work experience including at least 5 years with a material level of responsibility
Minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 must include Academic Reading and Writing modules.
IELTS Academic - Minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0 must include Academic Reading and Writing modules for all courses.
TOEFL - Internet-based Test iBT An overall score of 82 with a minimum score of 22 in the Writing section 18 in the Reading section 20 in the Speaking section and 20 in the Listening section for all courses.
TOEFL - Essay Rating Test of Written English TWE of 45 and either 230 Computer-based or 570 Paper-based score.
