Students begin with foundational topics like science communication, digital ethics, and Indigenous perspectives in their first year. The second-year curriculum delves into sex and gender studies, evolutionary theory, bioethics, and philosophy of science, while the third year focuses on genetics in society, scientific exhibitions, and a culminating capstone project.
UWA's Science and Technology in Society program integrates disciplines like philosophy, biology, Indigenous studies, science communication, and gender studies to foster analytical skills for evaluating scientific and technological concepts.
