UWA's Engineering program is designed in collaboration with industry to provide you with the essential skills for a successful career. The curriculum is founded on three key pillars: Relevance, Integration, and Excellence. UWA's Engineering program addresses modern engineering challenges while combining theoretical knowledge, technical expertise, and hands-on experience to produce outstanding professionals.
Throughout your studies, you'll enhance your learning through work-integrated opportunities (450 hours of practical experience), extracurricular involvement (including engineering societies like UWA Young Engineers, UWA Motorsport, and discipline-specific clubs), and professional development to join the network of UWA engineering alumni valued by employers for their technical proficiency, ethical standards, and problem-solving capabilities.
After four years, you'll emerge as a work-ready engineer with expertise in your chosen specialization: Automation and Robotics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Electronic, Environmental, Mechanical, Mining, or Software Engineering.
Entry requirements may vary from country to country. Students are required to complete an international academic qualification equivalent to Australian High School (or equivalent).
English language requirements:
IELTS (academic): Overall minimum score of 6.5, no band lower than 6.0
TOEFL Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): an overall score of 82 or above with a minimum score of 22 in writing, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 20 in listening
Pearsons Test of English (PTE) (academic): An overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 59 in the speaking and writing sections, and no less than 54 in the other sections
