The UTS Master of Project Management program aims to build the expertise, skills, and professional growth of both new and seasoned project managers. The Master of Project Management at UTS holds accreditation from the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and recognition from the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM). Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate studies.

Applicants must have one of the following:

  • a UTS recognised bachelor's degree, or equivalent, or higher qualification or
  • a UTS Graduate Certificate in Project Management, or
  • a UTS Graduate Diploma in Project Management, or
  • a UTS Graduate Diploma in Construction Management.

Applications based on a UTS recognised bachelor's degree or equivalent must provide the following:

  • a minimum of one year full time, or equivalent part time, relevant work experience (see note below), and
  • a CV clearly articulating project management experience, and
  • an employer's letter confirming the dates of employment, and the position held, and
  • a personal statement (max. 300 words) explaining the reasons for wanting to study project management and demonstrating an understanding of basic project management concepts gained from work experience and knowledge of course expectations.

The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL: paper based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21; or AE5: Pass; or PTE: 58-64 with a writing score of 50; or C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169.
