Science provides solutions to pressing global issues like pandemics, climate change, and antibiotic resistance. Through the UTS Bachelor of Science program, students can position themselves at the cutting edge of a field capable of strengthening both human societies and our planet's ecosystems.
The Bachelor of Science (Honours) builds upon the standard degree with an extra year of dedicated research. This prestigious program, open to top-performing students, features a year-long independent research project conducted in a professional scientific setting. Offering four specialized disciplines, it enables students to deepen their knowledge in specific scientific fields while developing advanced research capabilities prized by employers.
Students graduate with a respected qualification that opens doors to enhanced career prospects (refer to the Bachelor of Science course details for specific examples) and provides pathways to advanced research degrees, including research master's programs and PhD opportunities.
