The UTS Bachelor of Nursing program equips students for the dynamic and demanding profession of nursing. Adopting a cross-disciplinary methodology, the Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation draws insights from multiple fields, combining hands-on industry experience, real-world initiatives, and student-driven projects to prepare graduates for tackling complex issues, difficult challenges, and emerging possibilities in contemporary society.
Registered nurses can pursue careers in urban, regional, and remote locations across numerous specialties including primary care, public health, emergency medicine, ICU, geriatrics, mental health, surgical units, and child health. Alumni also find roles in research, teaching, and management positions within government and private sectors. Senior career paths include positions as clinical specialists, healthcare educators, nursing administrators, or advanced practice nurses.
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level.
Admission to the combined degree is on merit according to the admissions policy for the Bachelor of Nursing.
