The Bachelor of Molecular Biotechnology and Bachelor of Business program aims to develop professionals ready for roles in biotechnology research or management positions within science-focused organizations.
This dual degree covers the study of biological systems and teaches techniques for modifying these processes to create novel medical treatments, agricultural products, and organic materials. Students gain flexibility to pursue either scientific or corporate career paths. Alumni can access opportunities across both sectors, with potential roles including laboratory manager, vaccine production specialist, research analyst, biotechnology specialist, innovation developer, or scientific investigator. Career paths span multiple fields such as pharmaceutical development, agricultural science, quality assurance, and medical research.
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level.
The English proficiency requirement is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL: paper based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21; or AE5: Pass; or PTE: 58-64 with a writing score of 50; or C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169.
