The information technology curriculum delivers comprehensive training in computing and IT disciplines for aspiring professionals. Meanwhile, the business studies equip learners with essential knowledge, skills, and principles for successful business careers.
Industry demand remains high for professionals who combine robust IT capabilities with business acumen. Through this dual-degree pathway, students can obtain two qualifications in just four years, preparing them for roles in business technology operations.
Career prospects vary based on chosen specializations, with potential roles spanning accounting, advertising consultancy, programming analysis, banking, business analysis, economics, financial planning, information systems development, ICT business analysis, IT project management, management consulting, marketing leadership, network expertise, software engineering, systems analysis, and web development.
Applicants must have completed an Australian Year 12 qualification, Australian Qualifications Framework Diploma, or equivalent Australian or overseas qualification at the required level.
The English proficiency requirement is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL: paper based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21; or AE5: Pass; or PTE: 58-64 with a writing score of 50; or C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169.
