The Master of Professional Engineering is a practice-oriented master's degree that provides specializations in Civil and Structural Engineering, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy and Electrical Power, and Timber Design. This program is designed for graduates holding a bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering from non-Washington Accord institutions, those with engineering degrees in other disciplines, or science graduates with strong quantitative skills. The curriculum and evaluation structure are designed to help students meet Engineers Australia's Stage 1 Competency Standards while applying AQF Level 9 knowledge and skills. Program Learning Outcomes Include: Developing evidence-based solutions for modern engineering challenges using both traditional and innovative analytical approaches. Creating engineering designs, systems, and processes in collaboration with communities while addressing technical, ethical, legal, and resource factors. Overseeing engineering projects through all phases by employing regional expertise and professional decision-making. Presenting research findings from local engineering initiatives to both professional and academic communities.
