The Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours (BPsychSc(Hons)) offers graduates of the Bachelor of Psychological Science or Bachelor of Behavioural Science programs who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance the chance to complete an APAC-accredited fourth-year psychology program. This honours program delivers instruction in research methodologies, advanced theoretical concepts, and foundational professional training, mirroring the curriculum of the BA(Hons), BSc(Hons), and fourth year of the BPsych(Hons). Designed as a stepping stone to postgraduate studies and research for BPsychSc graduates, the BPsychSc(Hons) typically follows a full-time study format, though part-time options may be available with prior approval from the Division of Psychology. The fourth-year psychology curriculum aims to deliver a cohesive and thorough education in psychology, enable advanced study across various specializations, and cultivate research proficiency. It prepares students within the scientist-practitioner framework, equipping them with the expertise needed for roles as provisionally registered psychologists and laying the groundwork for future postgraduate studies in professional training or research programs.
