Students pursuing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree conduct in-depth research and compose a 40,000-60,000 word dissertation on an approved subject under faculty guidance, while completing a minimum of one 6-credit unit from Table R. Research opportunities span all Faculty schools, covering Economics; Literature, Art and Media; Languages and Culture; Philosophical and Historical Inquiry; and Social and Political Sciences.
