As a postgraduate coursework degree, the Master of Pharmacy thoroughly prepares students for all professional pharmacy responsibilities, with special emphasis on leading innovative, research-driven practices. Upon graduation, students qualify for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia after completing 1824 hours (one year) of supervised practical experience and an Intern Training Program. The curriculum features essential pharmacy subjects, professional practice modules, experiential learning, and a culminating capstone project.
The required Work Integrated Learning component incorporates clinical placements that offer hands-on experience in modern healthcare settings. Qualification Requirements

To be eligible to apply for the Master of Pharmacy applicants will need to fulfill the following criteria:

A bachelor's degree from an Australian institution or equivalent
A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA), currently 5.0 over 7.0 (equivalent to 65% at USYD), or Graduate Australian Medical Admissions Test (GAMSAT), currently 55 with 50 in each section, or Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), currently 8 (previous test version) / 500 (new test version).
48 credit points, or equivalent, in six prerequisite subjects at university level (see below)
English language proficiency of IELTS 7.0 overall with 6.5 in each band (if relevant)
TOEFL - IBT score A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 20 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 22 in Writing
