The Master of Health Law (MHL) is a versatile, specialized program addressing diverse legal and ethical challenges in healthcare. You'll gain skills to recognize, evaluate, and create responses to intricate legal, ethical, and policy matters impacting health services and systems.
Our diverse student body includes practicing attorneys, medical professionals, healthcare administrators, government officials, advocates, and others pursuing advanced knowledge of legal and regulatory concerns in the health field.
This postgraduate degree concentrates on comprehensive legal and ethical considerations in healthcare and health sector governance.
The curriculum features core and elective courses spanning multiple disciplines, such as medical law, technological advancements in healthcare, professional regulation, legal disputes, public health legislation, mental health regulations, international health policies, and specialized areas.
Participants develop expertise in recognizing, examining, and formulating responses to complex health-related legal, ethical, and policy challenges. MHL students originate from various academic and professional backgrounds.
Those without a common law degree must complete a foundational unit either before or concurrently with other coursework.
