Qualification Requirements

Admission to candidature for the Master of Economic Analysis (1.5 years full-time) requires:

a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney, including a major in Economics with a minimum distinction (75%) average, or an equivalent qualification, or
completion of the requirements of the embedded Graduate Certificate in Economic Analysis or Graduate Diploma in Economic Analysis with a minimum distinction (75%), or an equivalent qualification, or
completion of the Graduate Certificate in Economics with a minimum high distinction (85%) average, or equivalent qualification.
IELTS - A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.5 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 20 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 22 in Writing
