The Master of Digital Health and Data Science equips you with specialized expertise in digital health and applied data science. Whether you aim to enhance your digital science knowledge for health data applications or develop data science skills specifically for digital health, this program offers new learning opportunities and hands-on experience to augment your existing capabilities. As healthcare stands at the brink of revolutionary changes driven by big data, machine learning, and computational advances, worldwide demand for applied data science education continues to grow. The healthcare industry urgently requires professionals skilled in creating, deploying, assessing, and overseeing data-centric technologies. Meanwhile, private enterprises are actively developing healthcare innovations, medical devices, and analytical platforms. Acknowledging that digital health thrives on interdisciplinary collaboration, this course connects you with engineers, IT experts, data scientists, and healthcare practitioners to tackle real-world projects from industry and healthcare organizations. Jointly designed and delivered by the School of Computer Science (Faculty of Engineering) and Biomedical Informatics and Digital Health (Faculty of Medicine and Health), every unit has been carefully crafted to deliver advanced data science training within a healthcare framework. For those not yet qualified for the MDHDS program, entry is possible through the Graduate Certificate of Digital Health and Data Science (GCDHDS), which can later transition into the full master's degree. Students seeking targeted learning can also opt for specific subjects within the GCDHDS for more concentrated study.
