The Master of Brain and Mind Sciences offers specialized training for future professionals in science, medicine, nursing, psychiatry, and psychology, equipping them to address brain and mental health disorders.
This program caters to diverse backgrounds, welcoming non-medical graduates, industry scientists pursuing advanced research, as well as practicing GPs and nurses who manage patients with mental health conditions.
As a postgraduate coursework degree, the Master of Brain and Mind Sciences prepares the next generation of neuroscience and mental health professionals to effectively support individuals affected by neurological and psychological disorders.

Qualification Requirements
A successful applicant for admission to the Master of Brain and Mind Sciences will:
have completed the requirements of the embedded graduate certificate or graduate diploma in this discipline, without graduating, from the University of Sydney, or equivalent qualification, or
hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from the University of Sydney or equivalent qualification,
and
satisfactorily perform at an interview where required.
IELTS - A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL IBT - A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
