This program centers on creating media content within an international framework. You'll gain expertise in refining both written and spoken communication abilities while mastering production techniques across print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
Designed for active media practitioners and marketing/communications professionals, this program helps you upgrade existing competencies or pivot toward new career paths.
We apply humanities-based analytical approaches to examine evolving media technologies and modern content creation. Our curriculum covers diverse subjects including news reporting, multimedia production, digital society studies, media philosophy, online platforms, corporate communications, and healthcare messaging.
Admission to the course requires:
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
equivalent professional experience of no less than three years in a relevant field such as journalism, public relations, media relations or media research.
IELTS score: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
