This dynamic discipline goes far beyond merely maintaining old structures. Our Heritage Conservation program equips you to assess the cultural significance and inherent worth of important locations, deciding which elements deserve safeguarding for posterity.

Whether your background is in architecture, urban planning, archaeology, history, engineering or similar fields, this course will enhance your expertise in conservation and creative repurposing. We encourage applications from diverse academic backgrounds as well.
The curriculum covers conservation techniques, designing contemporary structures within historic contexts, plus the specialized history, theories, regulations and policies of this distinctive field.

You'll gain expertise in working with both traditional and modern materials, redesigning spaces, expanding or modifying existing buildings, and developing sites responsibly while respecting their historical context and ensuring fair treatment of all stakeholders.
