You'll examine conventional venues like museums and galleries alongside innovative contemporary curation approaches, including alternative exhibition spaces such as artist collectives, community projects, public installations, festivals, and commercial venues.
With instruction partially based at Sydney College of the Arts, you'll utilize our gallery facilities, creative studios, technical knowledge, and collaborative postgraduate environment. The program features partnerships with leading institutions like the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.

Admission to candidature for the Graduate Certificate in Art Curating requires:
a bachelor's degree from the University of Sydney or an equivalent qualification; or
equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
IELTS score: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
