As internationally recognized pioneers in medical and health sciences, we offer research programs that empower students to create meaningful impacts on individual and population health worldwide. By pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) with our faculty, you'll engage in groundbreaking research across our specialized fields. This full-time program spans up to four years (or four to eight years part-time), culminating in a comprehensive research thesis that contributes to medical knowledge and practice.

Qualification Requirements
To apply for a PhD, you need to demonstrate sufficient prior research experience and capability. In most cases, you will have either:
a bachelor's degree with first or upper second class honours or
a master's degree performed at a high academic standard, and which includes a substantial component of research
an equivalent qualification that demonstrates research experience, excellence and capability.
These are the minimum requirements for eligibility but they do not guarantee admission. That remains at the discretion of the Associate Dean (Research Education) for the faculty.

TOEFL IBT - A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 23 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 25 in Writing
