The Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) offers students who have completed an undergraduate pass degree in visual arts the chance to expand their skills through studio-based and written research projects.
This program is particularly suited for undergraduates who have specialized in one major area.
Participants may choose to build upon their previous studies or explore new research directions.
Students can select between a studio practice with research paper or a dissertation track. Candidates should demonstrate clear artistic focus and readiness for supervised tutorial work.

Qualification Requirements
To qualify for admission to the honours year you should have completed the requirements of the pass degree of the Bachelor of Visual Arts, or equivalent degree from a recognised institution, with a weighted average mark across intermediate and senior units of at least 70%.
Applicants are also selected on the basis of their portfolio and project proposal. Admission is competitive and not all eligible applicants may be offered candidature.
IELTS - A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
