The Animal Health, Disease and Welfare major combines animal biology and ecology with veterinary science. Students explore the scientific foundations of animal health, covering physiology, molecular biology, pathogens, and welfare considerations. A key focus is on preventing, treating, and understanding diseases in livestock, pets, and wildlife. This program prepares graduates for careers in animal health, including disease prevention, monitoring, welfare advocacy, and agricultural industries.

The Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Laws is a dual undergraduate program offering a route to legal qualification.
This degree establishes foundational scientific knowledge before allowing specialization. It cultivates critical analysis abilities to evaluate facts, construct legal arguments, and solve intricate problems.
Students undertake core science units and introductory electives alongside basic law requirements, while selecting a science specialization. The curriculum includes Open Learning Environment courses and additional electives to fulfill degree requirements.
Upon completing the Bachelor of Science components, students advance to the Bachelor of Laws program, undertaking advanced core units and electives from the Law School's offerings in a structured sequence.
Law electives must include jurisprudence studies, with final-year options for advanced coursework and an honors research project.
