The Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Laws is a dual undergraduate degree program offering a direct route to legal practice qualification.
This program establishes foundational scientific knowledge before allowing specialization in your chosen field. It sharpens your analytical abilities to think critically, formulate and express factual and legal evaluations based on reasoned arguments and evidence, and tackle intricate problems.
Your studies will include core degree requirements and introductory electives from Science disciplines alongside foundational Law courses. You'll also complete Open Learning Environment units and any additional electives needed to fulfill program requirements from either disciplinary or shared course pools.
Upon completing the Bachelor of Science requirements, you'll advance to the Bachelor of Laws program, undertaking a structured sequence of advanced core courses and electives from the Sydney Law School curriculum.
These electives must include at least one jurisprudence course, with the option in your final year to pursue advanced coursework and an honors thesis project.
