The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major offers a comprehensive exploration of life's chemical foundations and the molecular mechanisms governing biological systems. This program focuses on molecular communication, energy transfer within and between cells, and hereditary transmission, examining how these processes shape structure and function. Designed for students passionate about uncovering the molecular basis of both normal biological functions and pathological conditions across all life forms.
The Bachelor of Science (Advanced) is an undergraduate program that cultivates analytical and critical thinking skills, preparing students to contribute to scientific research and global betterment. The curriculum includes core science fundamentals, followed by specialization through a chosen stream, program, or major from the Science disciplines, complemented by a minor or additional major from either science or interdisciplinary fields. Students also complete Open Learning Environment units and electives to fulfill degree requirements.
