Our Innovation and Entrepreneurship specialization, developed in partnership with the University of Sydney Business School, helps cultivate a forward-thinking, entrepreneurial approach while equipping you with practical skills for meaningful disruption.
Students can choose from diverse study units designed for various interests, covering areas like tech innovation, social enterprise, digital transformation, and sustainable business innovation.
You'll work alongside fellow students to tackle real-world challenges creatively, applying your knowledge to launch startups, employ design thinking for new offerings, or drive social and technological solutions for sustainability.
The Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Mechatronic Engineering) undergraduate program integrates mechanical, electronic, and software engineering to develop computer-controlled systems and smart products. Hands-on training and industry exposure prepare graduates to revolutionize machine applications in cutting-edge sectors.
Engineers Australia and other leading engineering bodies accredit this program. The curriculum includes fundamental units in mathematics and computing, plus interdisciplinary project work.
Students complete core mechanical engineering subjects and specialized electives, with options for additional specialization. Elective units can be selected from Engineering disciplines or shared course pools to fulfill degree requirements.
The final year features an honours thesis in mechanical engineering, complemented by professional development activities through the Professional Engagement Program, including mandatory industry placements in the concluding year.
