The Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Mechatronic Engineering) is an undergraduate program that integrates mechanical, electronic, and software engineering disciplines, equipping students to develop advanced computer-controlled systems and products. Through hands-on training and real-world industry exposure, graduates will be prepared to revolutionize machine applications in cutting-edge sectors.
This program holds accreditation from Engineers Australia and other leading engineering organizations. Students will undertake fundamental coursework in mathematics and computing, complemented by interdisciplinary project-based learning modules.
The curriculum includes specialized mechanical engineering courses and offers optional focus areas. Students may select additional electives from either the Engineering discipline-specific offerings or the general academic pool to fulfill degree requirements.
During their final year, students will undertake an honours research project in mechanical engineering. The degree incorporates professional development components through the Professional Engagement Program, culminating in practical engineering experience during the concluding year.
A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
