The Bachelor of Engineering Honours with Space Engineering is an undergraduate program encompassing all space sector operations, from terrestrial mission control to the engineering of orbital platforms and interplanetary vehicles.
This program welcomes students from aeronautical, mechanical, and mechatronic engineering disciplines. The curriculum meets accreditation standards set by Engineers Australia and other prominent engineering organizations.
Your studies will include fundamental coursework in mathematics and computing, alongside interdisciplinary project modules. You'll also complete specialized core subjects and electives in your chosen field, with the option to pursue a focused specialization.
You may select additional electives from either the Engineering discipline-specific offerings or the general academic pool to fulfill degree requirements. The final year features an honors research project in your selected specialization.
As part of your professional development, you'll participate in industry engagement activities through the Professional Engagement Program, culminating in practical engineering experience during your last year.
A secondary education qualification such as the NSW Higher School Certificate (including national and international equivalents), OR approved higher education study, including approved preparation courses.
IELTS score: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score: A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
Pearsons Test of English: A minimum result of 61 overall and a minimum result of 54 in each band
