Explore your passion for business and law with our combined Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws program, earning dual degrees that create outstanding career opportunities in both domains. This program is designed for students seeking to build fundamental legal knowledge alongside commercial, technical, and managerial expertise, preparing you for a career in legal practice or the business sector where legal qualifications are highly valued.
The Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws is an integrated undergraduate program offering a direct route to legal certification.
This dual degree delivers thorough training in business fundamentals (covering accounting, management, and analytics) while examining business's broader societal role (including strategy and influence). It sharpens your analytical abilities to evaluate independently, construct well-reasoned legal and factual arguments, and address complex challenges.
You'll undertake the Bachelor of Commerce simultaneously with introductory Bachelor of Laws coursework. Commerce requirements include essential business foundation courses, a specialization from the Business School's disciplinary offerings, a capstone project, plus additional electives from either the Business School or cross-faculty shared pool.
Upon completing the Commerce degree requirements, you'll advance to the Law program, undertaking advanced core subjects and specialized electives from Sydney Law School's undergraduate curriculum in a structured progression.
Law electives must include jurisprudence coursework, with the option in your final year to pursue advanced studies and complete an honors research project.
