To qualify for Honors, students must complete a major in French and Francophone Studies with a minimum 70% average. Participation in a semester-long exchange program in a French-speaking country is highly encouraged for all prospective Honors candidates.
Pursuing Honors can serve as a foundation for academic careers or professional research roles. The program combines seminar coursework with the development of an independent research thesis, guided by a faculty supervisor specializing in the student's chosen research area.
