The nature of work is evolving, transforming what it means to practice law. Our prestigious combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws program encourages innovative thinking, equipping you with dual qualifications that unlock diverse career paths - whether in legal practice or other fields requiring legal expertise. Modern law graduates must cultivate adaptability, blending legal knowledge with interdisciplinary perspectives to tackle complex challenges in an era of rapid technological change and evolving client demands. Our internationally recognized Bachelor of Laws (LLB) serves as the foundation for legal practice in NSW while preparing you for the demands of today's global legal landscape. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) component provides exceptional flexibility across 45+ disciplines, enabling you to develop complementary expertise. The program structure spans five years, integrating BA studies with initial LLB coursework before focusing exclusively on legal studies in the final two years, with an optional honors year available.

International Relations examines the interconnected political, social, cultural and economic frameworks governing global affairs. This discipline investigates the historical evolution of international systems while analyzing key players, governing bodies, and operational mechanisms. Central to this study is the examination of sovereign states and their interactions within an anarchic international system. Students critically assess the dynamics influencing state behavior - from conflict triggers to cooperative frameworks - within our increasingly interconnected yet divided world. The curriculum progresses from foundational theories and historical context in first year to advanced exploration of international security, global governance, political economy, and legal frameworks in subsequent years. This comprehensive approach illuminates how international institutions shape worldwide policy decisions.
