Pursue your interests and career goals by undertaking a dual major. Select both specializations from our extensive selection of over 45 academic disciplines. This combined program provides the freedom to pursue diverse subjects while standing out in your final year.
The Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Advanced Studies equips you with critical thinking abilities, independent reasoning skills, and the capacity to develop and express well-reasoned arguments.
Your studies will begin with a core introductory unit to orient you to arts education. You'll then pursue a primary major from the Arts and Social Sciences disciplines, complemented by either a secondary major or minor from either the disciplinary or shared pools, along with Open Learning Environment units.
You may also complete additional elective units as necessary to fulfill the program's credit requirements.
In your final year, choose between two pathways: Advanced Coursework OR Honours:
Advanced Coursework: Strengthen your leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities to boost your career potential. This involves rigorous coursework and a significant practical project, completed individually or in teams.
Honours: Cultivate advanced research skills and prepare for postgraduate opportunities, including PhD studies. This path includes an independent research project under supervision, along with related discipline-specific or research-oriented coursework.
