This program offers extensive clinical training and professional fieldwork, allowing students to work directly with patients under supervision.
This undergraduate degree prepares students for careers as physiotherapists through a comprehensive four-year curriculum. You'll develop competencies in assessing and treating movement disorders while learning strategies for injury prevention and health maintenance. The program holds accreditation from the Australian Physiotherapy Council (APC), enabling graduates to register with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (PBA) under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
The curriculum combines core and elective physiotherapy subjects with studies in exercise science, behavioral health, community health sciences, and biomedical sciences. Students undertake five practical placements totaling 1,040 hours, including at least one placement in a rural or regional setting outside metropolitan areas.
