The Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Honours) offers high-achieving students an intensive one-year program following their undergraduate degree. This honors pathway replaces the traditional 'appended honors' option for numerous undergraduate programs and is open to graduates from the University of Sydney or other institutions. Students in combined professional-liberal studies degrees at Sydney can also pursue honors through the liberal studies component. Through independent research projects and rigorous coursework, participants develop essential research capabilities while deepening their subject expertise and analytical abilities. This program serves as excellent preparation for research-focused graduate studies like master's or PhD programs, while also providing valuable skills for diverse career paths.
